| 1. The basic parameters of drilling rigs follows the regulations
regulated by the industrial standard SY/T5609-1999 the Types of
Petroleum Drilling rigs and Basic Parameters. 2. Drilling rigs is driven by either diesel engine, hydraulic torque converter and chain transmission box or diesel engine, reducer and narrow V-belt, which provides smooth mechanical power to the draw-works. A number of hoisting speeds and rotary speeds are available. 3. The draw-works is divided into two sections so as to install the main draw-works near the ground level. The tapered gear box and universal shaft transmit smooth power and are simple to assemble and disassemble. 4. The main draw-works (grade 40 and 50 ) utilizes pneumatic clutch to shift gears, which are suitable for long distance control, fast and convenient maintenance. The cathead draw-works is equipped with a sand reel. It can be a whole part, also can be a combined part, that is easy to lift onto the derrick floor without a heavy-duty crane. 5. The main brake system utilizes either a band brake or a hydraulic disc brake. And the auxiliary brake uses an Eddy current brake or EATON brake. The system provides a high degree of sensitivity and reliability to reduce the man power. 6. The chain-driven drilling rigs are driven by the integral enclosed compound chain box and torque converter. During rig moves, the chains can be dismantled for ease of installation. 7. The substructure is a box-on-box design for easy installation. 8. It meets the needs of high pressure B. O. P installations. 9. The rotary table and transmission device are flush with drilling rigs surface, and drilling platform is level so that the operating space is big. 10. The rotary table and its transmission devise are parallel with drilling surface, so that drilling platform is level with large operating space. 11. For the combination type of mechanical & electrical drilling rigs, i. E. JD & LD, the draw-works is driven by V-belt or chain transmission drive. The rotary table is driven by an AC motor drive. Owing to the frequency conversion speed control technology, the rotary table realizes stepless speed regulation, which meets the technical requirement of drilling, improves the efficiency and reduce cost of drilling.
